Boiso’s Electrical Swings into Action at the CQ Pet Rescue Golf Day

May 7, 2025 By Boisos Electrical Services

At Boiso’s Electrical Services, we’re all about wiring up solutions and lighting the way forward, but sometimes, it’s good to trade in the toolbelt for a golf club and come together for a greater cause. That’s exactly what we did during the CQ Pet Rescue Golf Day at the picturesque Emerald Golf Club, and what a day it was!

Hitting the Fairway for Furry Friends

The team showed up in full force, matching polos, beaming smiles, and a healthy dose of friendly banter in tow. With the sun shining down and a light breeze rustling through the gum trees, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect for a round of golf with heart.

Our squad of sparky golfers took on the 7th hole, a 264-metre Par 4 that definitely gave us a run for our money. But whether the ball flew straight down the fairway or found the nearest tree, the atmosphere was all about fun, laughs, and connection. Even the players with more “enthusiastic” swings had a blast, no judgment on the greens!

A Cause Close to Our Hearts

As proud Central Queensland locals, we know how vital community organisations like CQ Pet Rescue are. Their tireless efforts to save, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned and neglected pets make a real difference every day. That’s why being part of this charity event wasn’t just a day out for us, it was a way to show our support and give back.
